Melanie Brown, widely known as Mel B of the Spice Girls, has spoken out amid ongoing buzz surrounding her former bandmate Victoria Beckham’s reported family fallout.
In a recent interview with The Sun, the 50-year-old English singer distanced herself from the controversy, making it clear she does not intend to comment on the matter.
“You know what? If my kids [Phoenix, 27, Angel, 18, and Madison, 14] want advice, I give them it,” Mel B said.
She added, “I don’t give advice on anybody else’s kids. And if I did, I wouldn’t tell you about it, because that’s private.”
What did Brooklyn Beckham say about his parents?
The remarks come after Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn, reportedly shared a lengthy statement on Instagram on January 19, 2026, criticising his parents and accusing them of being controlling.
The aspiring photographer also claimed that his mother interrupted his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and alleged she behaved inappropriately.
Mel B on Spice Girls’ 30th anniversary reunion
Elsewhere in the interview, Mel B also shut down rumours of a Spice Girls reunion ahead of the group’s 30th anniversary, marking the release of their debut single Wannabe in 1996.
The band, including herself and Victoria, also features Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner.
“I’ve not said anything about a reunion. I’m always the first one to say, ‘Yes, we’re going on tour,’ and I’m willing it to happen. Now I’m 50, I’m not going to be forcing anyone,” Mel B noted.
