American singer and rapper Lizzo, known for global hits such as Truth Hurts and Juice, has said she enjoys allowing fans to shape their own interpretations of her evolving musical style.
The 38-year-old artist, recognized for her distinctive sound and outspoken advocacy for social causes, shared that she finds it interesting to see how listeners respond to her upcoming work as she teases her new album.
In an interview with People, Lizzo explained that her forthcoming record continues to reflect her unique artistic identity.

“I don’t know how to not be that girl, but I will say I posted a snippet of one of my new songs that’s coming out very, very soon and somebody was like, ‘The ’90s are back,’” she said.
She added, “And I was like, ‘Okay.’ I like to let the people decide what the sound is.”
The Grammy-winning artist also emphasized her passion for the creative process, saying she enjoys writing and producing music that she feels strongly about.
For the new project, Lizzo has collaborated with long-time partners Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin, and Zack Sekoff.
