Known for her candid personality and distinctive style, Laila has never shied away from expressing her opinions about the industry and its treatment of artists.

Speaking further, Laila criticized the Karachi industry for being unwelcoming to artists, especially those from Punjab or older, established stars. She cited veteran actress Meera as an example, noting that despite her success with hits like Baji, Meera had to produce her own projects rather than being supported by the industry.
Laila also compared the Karachi and Lahore industries, claiming that Lahore has historically been more inclusive and open-minded toward talent. She emphasized that Karachi should be willing to embrace artists from across Pakistan, recognizing their skills and fan following instead of sidelining them.
By speaking out, Laila hopes to draw attention to the need for fairness and inclusivity in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Her comments reflect a growing conversation about bridging regional divides and giving artists equal opportunities to thrive.
