Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reunited for a special family moment this weekend. The former couple attended daughter North West’s first solo concert in Chicago.
The 13-year-old singer performed at The Vic Theatre on Saturday. Videos from the event showed Kardashian and West watching the performance from separate sections of the venue.
West, 49, watched North from a balcony with his friends. Kardashian, 45, attended with her own group and shared clips of the sold-out crowd on Instagram Stories.
The packed audience cheered as North prepared to take the stage. The young performer showcased songs from her debut EP, N0rth4evr, and reportedly performed some unreleased material as well.
The concert marked another important step in North’s growing music career. She has already appeared on stage with her father several times.
Earlier this month, North joined Kanye during his comeback concert at SoFi Stadium. The father and daughter performed some of their collaborations together during the show.
North’s Chicago concert came roughly a month after she canceled a planned tour with rapper Molly Santana. The tour had been scheduled to run from August 5 through August 17.
Kardashian and West were married from 2014 until 2022. They share four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
It remains unclear whether the younger children attended North’s concert. Both Kardashian and West have since moved forward with their personal lives.
West married Bianca Censori in 2022, while Kardashian has been romantically linked to Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton since earlier this year.
Despite their separation, both parents showed up for an important moment in North’s career. Their appearance highlighted their shared role as parents while keeping their distance from each other.
