Oude Waag presented its Fall 2026 collection in Shanghai with a focus on architectural silhouettes and tactile fabrics. The show emphasized structured outerwear and fluid draping, creating a dialogue between rigidity and movement.

Designer Xingjian Li explored contrasts through tailored wool coats paired with softly gathered trousers. A palette of deep charcoal, oxidized bronze, and cream allowed the emphasis to remain on form and texture. Technical knits and manipulated felts appeared throughout, highlighting the label’s dedication to material innovation.

The collection progressed into eveningwear with asymmetrical silk dresses and sculptural velvet pieces. Footwear and accessories maintained a minimalist, utilitarian edge, grounding the more voluminous garments. The presentation solidified Oude Waag’s position within a contemporary design space that values both conceptual rigor and wearability.
