Megan Thee Stallion has fans buzzing after confirming a new song with Cardi B.
The Grammy-winning rapper shared that the collaboration is “definitely gonna happen,” though she didn’t reveal the release date.
Megan has been on a career high this week. She made her Broadway debut as the first female Zidler in Moulin Rouge and dropped a surprise collaboration with Nickelback on the Cheetos Dill Pickle promo song, Pickle’s Back.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on March 25, Megan teased what’s next. “Don’t worry about that, don’t worry about that,” she said with a smile when asked about working with Cardi B again. “This is going to happen again. This is definitely going to happen again. Now, when it’s going to happen, I’m not telling you.”
The hip-hop stars first teamed up on Cardi B’s 2020 hit, WAP, and three years later on Bongos. More recently, they performed together on Cardi’s ongoing Little Miss Drama tour during a stop in Megan’s hometown of Houston, Texas.
“It was great, I love performing with Cardi,” Megan said. “She’s amazing. Every time we link up, it’s like, we don’t have to see each other for a long time, but it feels like I just saw her yesterday. That’s my girl.”
Megan added that she and Cardi are both authentic and love to laugh, keeping things light and fun when they work together. Cardi shared a picture of the duo backstage on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I love you so so so so so sooooooo much.”
With this announcement, fans of Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B can look forward to another hit. Meanwhile, Megan continues to make waves with her Broadway debut and unique collaborations like Pickle’s Back with Nickelback.
