Tamannaah Bhatia has announced the beginning of Ragini 3 shooting, marking the official start of the much-awaited horror project after several production changes.
Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has confirmed that filming for Ragini 3 has officially started, sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the first day on set.
The actress posted a picture on Instagram Stories showing herself holding the film’s clapboard with a smile. The slate marked “Day 01,” confirming that production began on July 15.
The shoot announcement comes after a challenging pre-production phase that saw multiple changes in the film’s cast and creative team.
Earlier reports suggested Nora Fatehi was considered for the lead role but later exited the project due to scheduling issues. The film also faced a setback when director Sahir Raza reportedly stepped away because of other commitments.
Following these changes, the project was restructured with Tamannaah Bhatia and Junaid Khan announced as the lead pair. Filmmaker Shashanka Ghosh has now taken charge as director, while Sahir Raza remains creatively connected with the movie.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures, Ragini 3 is being promoted as a “Date Night Horror” film, offering a fresh take on the horror genre.
The makers have kept major details about the storyline and supporting cast under wraps, building curiosity among fans.
