1D Reunion in Paris: Niall Horan Praises Louis Tomlinson’s New Album After Surprise Concert Visit

The One Direction brotherhood is still going strong in 2026. Niall Horan has opened up about his secret trip to France to support former bandmate Louis Tomlinson during the Paris leg of his How Did We Get Here? world tour.

Speaking on Zane Lowe’s Podcast on April 25, the 32-year-old “Dinner Party” singer revealed that watching Tomlinson perform his new record live was a “really cool” experience.

“Finding the Joy”: Niall’s Take on the Show

Niall didn’t just watch from the wings; he truly immersed himself in the atmosphere of the show. When asked by Zane Lowe if Louis is finding joy in his music, Niall was quick to confirm.

“He definitely looks like he’s having a lot of fun up there,” Horan shared. “The whole band sounds great. The show looks cool. So, good for him.”

    Freedom and the Fans

Horan noted that both he and Louis have reached a comfortable plateau in their solo careers—a place where they finally have the creative freedom to define themselves musically.

Creative Control: Both singers are now confident in their specific sounds.

The Fanbase: Niall praised the mix of “new fans” and those who have “loved and adored” them since the 2010 X-Factor days.

    What’s Next for Niall Horan?

While Louis continues his global tour, Niall is gearing up for a massive summer of his own. His highly anticipated new album, Dinner Party, is officially slated for release on June 5, 2026.

The duo’s relationship remains one of the most enduring in pop music. Despite the band’s split in 2016, Niall and Louis have consistently shown up for each other’s career milestones, proving that the One Direction legacy is built on genuine friendship.
