Miley Cyrus appears to be considering a new way to bring her live music closer to fans.
The pop star has teased the possibility of a concert residency after announcing two Hollywood Bowl shows in Los Angeles to celebrate her latest album, Bass Persuades.

Cyrus is scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18. Rock band Model/Actriz will join her as a special guest.

Lowe suggested that the level of demand could support a much longer run at the Hollywood Bowl, joking that Cyrus might need to perform 80 shows to satisfy fans.
Cyrus then revealed that a residency was already part of her original thinking.

Cyrus explained that the response to ticket demand has given her confidence in the idea.

“This is the ultimate dress rehearsal,” she said, adding that she has learned through the ticket queue that her calculations were correct.
The singer also suggested that she does not need to travel constantly to reach her audience.
Her comments led Lowe to describe the Hollywood Bowl concerts as a “proof of concept” that could eventually become something much bigger.
