Kylie Jenner is facing a legal complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by a former private chef who alleges pregnancy discrimination, unsafe working conditions, and emotional distress during her employment.
According to court documents reported by People, the woman says she was hired in November 2024 while three months pregnant. She claims her supervisors were aware of her high-risk condition but still required her to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.
The lawsuit alleges she was instructed to carry heavy food items across difficult terrain, which caused shortness of breath and required assistance from security staff. She also claims she was later reprimanded for causing disruption despite her condition.
The chef further states that on February 1, 2025, she worked a large private event at Jenner’s home with insufficient support. She claims the workload left her physically exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed.
In court filings, she says that the following morning she experienced heavy bleeding and was hospitalized, where she was informed she had lost her unborn baby. She also alleges she suffered another medical emergency later that month involving severe bleeding.
The complaint includes accusations of pregnancy discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to provide reasonable workplace accommodations, and wage-related violations. Jenner’s management company, Tri Star, is also named as a co-defendant in the case.
The former employee is seeking compensation for lost wages, benefits, and emotional distress. As of now, Jenner and her representatives have not issued any public response to the allegations.
The case is ongoing and will proceed through the Los Angeles court system.
