India’s Got Latent 2 Faces Fresh Controversy Over Mukesh Chhabra Remarks
Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent 2 is facing fresh controversy after a complaint was filed against casting director Mukesh Chhabra and Netflix India over allegedly inappropriate remarks made during an episode.
The complaint was filed by Anurag Shrivastav, who said he watched an episode featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bhuvan Bam, Mukesh Chhabra and Kaustubh Agarwal on Netflix on September 22.
Complaint Filed Over Alleged Remarks
According to the complaint, Shrivastav objected to remarks allegedly made by Mukesh Chhabra during the episode.
The complaint quotes Chhabra as allegedly using sexually suggestive language while referring to Aaram Nagar. Shrivastav described the alleged remarks as inappropriate and objectionable.
However, the complaint also states that the authenticity, context and exact timing of the alleged statement still need to be verified using the original recording.
Netflix India Also Named
The complaint also raises questions about Netflix India’s role in making the episode available on its platform.
Shrivastav has called for an investigation into how the content was reviewed before being released to viewers.
The complaint also seeks scrutiny of Netflix India content chief Monika Shergill’s involvement in the matter.

Concerns Over Online Child Safety
The complainant argues that if the alleged statement is confirmed, it could raise concerns about viewer dignity and child safety online.
At present, the remarks remain allegations made in the complaint. Their authenticity and full context would need to be established through the original episode and any relevant investigation.
India’s Got Latent Faced Controversy in 2025
This is not the first major controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent.
In February 2025, the show faced widespread backlash after a Season 1 episode featuring podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia.
During the episode, Allahbadia asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving parents and sex. The remarks sparked criticism and led to multiple complaints against members of the judging panel.
Following the backlash, Samay Raina removed the show’s episodes from YouTube.
Fresh Complaint Brings Show Back Into Spotlight
The latest complaint has once again placed India’s Got Latent under public attention.
The allegations involving Mukesh Chhabra and Netflix India remain subject to verification. The complaint has called for the alleged remarks and Netflix’s handling of the episode to be examined further.
