The animated sequel has collected an impressive $808.6 million globally, including $381 million from domestic markets and $427.3 million from international audiences.
With its strong performance, Toy Story 5 is now expected to enter the exclusive $1 billion box office club. The film could also challenge Toy Story 4, which earned $1.07 billion worldwide and remains the highest-grossing movie in the franchise.
The latest installment currently ranks among the biggest Hollywood releases of the year, placing behind The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Michael in worldwide earnings.

The movie had a record-breaking opening when it arrived in theaters on June 19, 2026. It earned $160 million during its debut weekend, marking the biggest opening in the history of the Toy Story franchise.
Before Toy Story 5, the previous record belonged to Toy Story 4, which opened with $120 million. The new sequel also achieved the second-highest opening weekend ever for an animated film, behind only Incredibles 2, which debuted with $182.7 million.
