Singer Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to affray in connection with a 2023 nightclub incident in London, with sentencing scheduled for later this year.
The 37-year-old musician entered his guilty plea during a hearing at Southwark Crown Court on Friday, July 24.
Brown was initially facing more serious allegations, including attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and assault. However, prosecutors have dropped those charges, leaving the affray charge as the focus of the case.

Prosecutors alleged that Brown struck Diaw with a bottle during the confrontation. They also claimed Brown’s co-defendant, rapper Omolulu Akinlolu, known as HoodyBaby, was involved in the incident.
Diaw was reportedly treated in hospital for injuries to his head and knee following the altercation.
Both Brown and Akinlolu are expected to return to court on October 26 for sentencing proceedings.
Brown remains on bail and has been permitted to travel outside the UK. Under the conditions of his release, he must return before October 25.
The singer was previously required to provide a £5 million security bond as part of his bail agreement, allowing him to continue his international tour commitments.
The incident has continued to attract public attention as Brown maintains his active music career. During a previous concert in Manchester, the singer made a brief reference to his time in custody while speaking to fans.
