Belmont Cameli Calls Ella Bright the Perfect Hannah Wells in Off Campus
Belmont Cameli, who plays Garrett Graham in Prime Video’s Off Campus, has praised his co-star Ella Bright for bringing the character of Hannah Wells to life. The actor believes Bright is the perfect choice for the role and also teased what fans can expect from their characters in Season 2.
Belmont Cameli Praises Ella Bright
During an interview with E! News on September 12, the 28-year-old actor shared his thoughts on Bright’s performance as Hannah Wells.
“Everything about Ella makes the perfect Hannah,” Belmont said.
He further praised his co-star’s acting skills and personality, calling her “fantastic” and “an incredible actress.” According to him, Bright is the ideal person to play Hannah in the series.
Belmont Cameli Shares a Fun Bond With Ella Bright
Belmont also opened up about his friendly relationship with Bright behind the scenes. He revealed that he often calls her “Wellsy,” a nickname associated with Hannah Wells.
“I’ve been calling her Wellsy a lot anyway, which is really fun,” the actor shared.
However, Bright does not always seem impressed by the nickname. Belmont jokingly explained that she often rolls her eyes whenever he greets her by saying, “Sup, Wellsy.”
Garrett and Hannah’s Relationship Will Face New Challenges
The Along for the Ride actor also offered a preview of Garrett and Hannah’s storyline in the upcoming season of Off Campus.
Belmont explained that Season 2 will continue from where the first season ended. While the previous season focused on the beginning of Garrett and Hannah’s relationship, the new episodes will explore what happens after they officially start dating.
“You’ll see right where we left off with the two of them,” he teased.
He added that the characters will have to learn how to balance their personal lives with their relationship. Hannah will be focused on music, while Garrett will continue pursuing hockey.
“In season two you’ll see what that entails; the two of them realizing what it’s like to be in college, to her having music, him having hockey, and to balance those things while starting the relationship,” Belmont explained.
The actor also expressed excitement about the storyline, promising that Garrett and Hannah will have plenty of interesting moments ahead.
What to Expect From Off Campus Season 2
Off Campus is based on the bestselling book series by author Elle Kennedy. Although Garrett and Hannah’s relationship will continue to develop, Season 2 will primarily focus on the romance between Dean DiLaurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn, and Allie Hayes, portrayed by Mika Abdalla.
