Will Nobody Wants This Return for Season 4?
Fans of Nobody Wants This may have reason to feel hopeful. Creator Erin Foster says she has more stories to tell. However, Netflix will decide whether the show returns for Season 4.
In an interview with Parade on October 23, Foster discussed the couple’s future. She believes their relationship could lead to new stories about love, marriage and adult life.
Erin Foster Wants to Continue the Story
Foster sees room to explore the next stage of Joanne and Noah’s relationship. She also drew on her own experience of getting married at 37.
She explained that marriage later in life can feel different from getting married in your 20s.
“There’s those next steps as people who are not in their 20s, getting married and you’re starting off already kind of behind everyone else,” Foster told Parade.
Still, she does not want the series to run for too long. She wants viewers to enjoy the show rather than feel tired of it.
What Is Nobody Wants This About?
The Netflix romantic comedy follows Joanne, an agnostic podcaster played by Kristen Bell, and Noah, a rabbi played by Adam Brody.
Their relationship faces challenges because of their different beliefs and family expectations. Joanne also considers converting to Judaism as their romance grows.
Foster drew inspiration from aspects of her own relationship with music executive Simon Tikhman when creating the series.
Netflix Has the Final Decision
Foster remains open to another season, but she has not confirmed Season 4. Netflix must decide whether to renew the show.
For now, fans must wait for an official announcement. Foster’s comments offer hope that Joanne and Noah’s story could continue if viewers want more.
