Belmont Cameli Talks Off Campus Season 2 Salary

Belmont Cameli is shedding some light on his reported Off Campus Season 2 pay bump.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on September 10, the 28-year-old actor was asked whether his salary increased between the first and second seasons of the Prime Video hit.

Cameli confirmed that a raise was part of his television contract.

“Yeah. When you sign an X amount of years for a TV show, there’s one baked in there,” he explained.

However, the actor noted that contract negotiations can change as a series continues.

“It’s commonplace to renegotiate at a certain point,” Cameli added.

Off Campus Could Become a Long-Running Franchise

Meanwhile, Cameli also discussed the possibility of Off Campus becoming a much larger franchise.

The series is based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus romance book series. According to Cameli, Amazon optioned the books several years ago, giving the adaptation plenty of potential material.

“My business answer is Amazon optioned all the books a couple of years ago. There are five books in the first [series],” he said.

“There are another four [in the second series]. In success, it could run for a long time. We all hope so,” the actor continued.

As a result, the success of the Prime Video series could potentially lead to several more seasons.

The television adaptation follows an elite college ice hockey team and explores the romantic lives of its players.

Season 1 premiered in May and centered on music student Hannah, played by Ella Bright, and hockey player Garrett, portrayed by Cameli.

At first, the series appeared to be following the order of Kennedy’s books. Logan, played by Antonio Cipriano, seemed to be next in line, followed by Dean, portrayed by Stephen Kalyn, and Tucker, played by Jalen Thomas Brooks.

However, the Season 1 finale changed expectations for the show’s next chapter.

Instead of following the original book order, Season 2 will focus on Dean and Allie. Mika Abdalla plays Allie, while Stephen Kalyn returns as Dean.

Therefore, the upcoming season will take a different direction from what some fans initially expected.

Still, Cameli’s comments suggest that Garrett’s story and the wider Off Campus universe could remain important as the franchise grows.Orry Opens Up About Loneliness and Identity

For now, fans can look forward to seeing how Season 2 expands the world of the series. Meanwhile, Cameli’s comments about the show’s long-term potential offer an encouraging sign for viewers hoping to see more of the Off Campus characters in the future.
