TXT member Yeonjun reflects on artistic growth and personal discovery as he gears up for his upcoming solo EP, blending music, choreography, and storytelling.
Yeonjun, a member of the globally popular K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), is preparing to return as a solo artist with his second EP, No Labels: Part 02, set for release on July 10.
The 26-year-old idol shared that the project continues his exploration of identity and creativity, coming just eight months after his solo debut No Labels: Part 01. The new EP was first announced on Weverse, followed by a teaser video released on June 15 showing Yeonjun in candid, everyday moments that highlight a more personal side of his artistry.
On June 18, TXT’s official social media accounts revealed a preview of the lead single Ice Cream, featuring Yeonjun stepping into an ice cream truck before a smooth bassline hints at the track’s musical direction.
The upcoming release follows the success of his first solo project, which debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and included standout tracks such as Talk to You and his collaboration with KATSEYE’s Daniela on Let Me Tell You. Yeonjun also contributed as a co-writer on most of the EP and took part in choreography development, showcasing his hands-on approach to music creation.
Speaking about the process, Yeonjun described working on the project as “really fun” and likened it to revisiting his youth. He added that the experience helped him better understand himself, shaping his evolving artistic identity.
As anticipation builds, No Labels: Part 02 is expected to further highlight Yeonjun’s growth as both a performer and creator, strengthening his presence beyond TXT’s group success.
