According to reports, 18-year-old Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt submitted paperwork at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, July 20, requesting to change her legal name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
The name change would remove “Pitt” from her surname while keeping “Marcheline” as a tribute to her late grandmother, Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina Jolie’s mother who died in 2007 after battling breast cancer.

Vivienne is not the first child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to move away from the “Pitt” surname.
