Before beginning the popular “Can U Handle It?” performance, Usher jokingly told fans that anyone coming on stage should be prepared for the experience.
“Don’t come up here if you don’t want to be here,” the singer told the crowd, according to a video shared on TikTok.
The comment came shortly after a moment from the duo’s Nashville concert went viral. During the performance, a woman identified as Gabrielle Cheyenne appeared hesitant while participating in Usher’s signature stage routine, leading to widespread reactions online.
Usher noticed her reaction during the show and humorously commented that she did not seem interested in being on stage.
Following the viral clip, Cheyenne explained her side of the incident during an interview with TMZ. She said she originally hoped to be selected by Chris Brown for the stage appearance and did not expect to participate in Usher’s segment.
Cheyenne revealed that she had received a VIP upgrade and was informed that she might be invited on stage, but she was not given specific details about what the performance would involve.
She clarified that her reaction was not intended as disrespect toward Usher, explaining that she attended the concert mainly because she was a Chris Brown fan.
Usher and Chris Brown are currently performing together on The R&B Tour, which includes 40 stadium shows across different cities. The tour began on June 26, 2026, and is scheduled to continue until December 12, 2026.
