The Beast in Me Renewed for Season 2 by Netflix
Netflix has officially renewed The Beast in Me for a second season, extending the story of the breakout limited series beyond its original run.
The renewal comes as a surprise because the show was initially developed as a limited series. Claire Danes is set to return in her Emmy-nominated role as Aggie Wiggs and will also continue as an executive producer.
Claire Danes Returns for The Beast in Me Season 2
Claire Danes will reprise her role in The Beast in Me Season 2, bringing Aggie Wiggs back for another chapter.
The actress will also remain involved behind the scenes as an executive producer.
The renewal gives the series an opportunity to continue Aggie’s story after the events of its first season.

Original Writers Return
Writers Howard Gordon and Daniel Pearle will also return for the second season.
Gordon served as the showrunner during Season 1. For the new season, he will share co-showrunner duties with Pearle.
Their return keeps key creative voices from the original series involved in its continuation.
Howard Gordon Signs Netflix Deal
Alongside the Season 2 renewal, Gordon has signed an overall deal with Netflix.
Through his production company, Teakwood Lane Productions, he will develop new series for the streaming platform.
The agreement adds another collaboration between Gordon and Netflix beyond The Beast in Me.
