Fans have been waiting nearly two decades for another Munna Bhai film, and it appears Sanjay Dutt is just as eager to see the beloved franchise return.
Arshad Warsi, who plays the iconic character Circuit, recently spoke about the much-anticipated third installment and revealed that Dutt has been urging director Rajkumar Hirani to move forward with the project.

According to Warsi, Hirani is actively working on the screenplay. The actor also expressed his own excitement about returning to the franchise, saying he is hoping the long-awaited sequel finally takes shape.
The delay appears to be linked to Hirani’s desire to create a story that matches the standard of the earlier films. The franchise began with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. in 2003 and continued with Lage Raho Munna Bhai in 2006, both of which became major successes.
The original film introduced audiences to Munna Bhai, a gangster who enters medical college while trying to fulfil his father’s dream. His loyal sidekick Circuit became one of Bollywood’s most popular supporting characters.
With Hirani reportedly focused on getting the script right, fans may still have to wait. But Warsi’s latest comments offer fresh hope that Munna Bhai 3 remains firmly on the cards.
