Punjabi actress and model Samreen Kaur has spoken out against online trolls who accuse her of dating Indian cricketer Arshdeep Singh for fame. She addressed the criticism in a series of Instagram Stories, explaining that she has built her own career and financial independence.

“The more I see the world, the more I realise how hypocritical people on social media can be,” she wrote.
She added that some people accuse women of hiding their partners, while others claim they are seeking attention when they openly show their love.
Samreen also rejected claims that she depends on Arshdeep’s fame or money. She stressed that she had been working since the age of 17 and had built her own professional identity.
“I’ve been working since I was 17, taking care of myself financially and professionally, travelling to over 20 countries, and building a happy life with or without a relationship,” she said.

The actress also expressed disappointment over women criticising other women. She said that unnecessary opinions, assumptions and negative comments had become exhausting.
Samreen made it clear that she was happy in her relationship and wanted people to respect her privacy.
“I’m happy, I’m in love, and I’m living my life. That’s all that matters. Please let us be,” she wrote.
She also said she would block people who continued to post hateful comments about her relationship.
Her message focused on personal independence, mutual respect and the need to stop judging others based on assumptions.
Arshdeep Singh Supports Samreen Kaur
Arshdeep Singh also responded to the criticism and publicly supported his girlfriend. The Indian fast bowler praised Samreen for her strength and asked social media users to stop interfering in their personal lives.
“I’m proud of you baby. You are so strong,” Arshdeep wrote in his Instagram Stories.
He also encouraged people to focus on spreading kindness instead of criticising others.
“Live and let live. Make this world and internet a better place. Spread love and let love find you. Be warm and kind,” he added.
Arshdeep further described Samreen as “pure, understanding and full of love.” He also thanked people who had shown the couple support and kindness.
