Shailendra Singh Shares Story About Salman Khan’s Reported PRP Treatment
Filmmaker and Sunburn Festival co-founder Shailendra Singh has revealed an unusual story involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and a reported hair restoration procedure.
During an appearance on the Cyrus Says podcast, Singh claimed he once witnessed Salman undergoing Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy while visiting the actor’s home for a meeting.
According to Singh, he was surprised when he saw a person wearing gloves performing a procedure on Salman’s scalp during the visit.
He recalled being shocked by the scene and said Salman responded casually, suggesting that maintaining a celebrity image often requires personal sacrifices.
Singh claimed the treatment was PRP therapy, a procedure that involves taking a person’s blood, concentrating platelets in a laboratory, and injecting them into areas such as the scalp to support hair growth.
He alleged that the treatment was not legally approved in India at that time, though the claim has not been independently verified.
The filmmaker also suggested that the procedure was popular among several Bollywood personalities and claimed many industry figures visited the same clinic for similar treatments.
Singh said the topic came up after celebrity manager Reshma Shetty once pointed out that he was experiencing hair loss, which led him to explore possible solutions.
PRP therapy has become a widely discussed cosmetic treatment in recent years, with many people seeking it as a non-surgical option for hair restoration.
While Salman Khan has not publicly commented on Singh’s claims, the filmmaker’s story has generated discussion among fans about the lengths celebrities go to maintain their appearance in the entertainment industry.
