Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has stepped forward to support flood-affected families in Assam through a large-scale relief campaign launched by his charitable foundation, Being Human.
Known for his successful film career, Salman Khan has also gained recognition for his philanthropic efforts. The actor is now focusing on providing essential support to people struggling after severe floods damaged several parts of Assam.
According to reports, Salman’s Being Human Foundation is working with the Salman Khan Fan Club (SKFC) Assam to deliver relief supplies directly to affected communities. The actor is reportedly personally monitoring the initiative while continuing the shooting of his upcoming film in Mumbai.
The relief operation has been planned in multiple phases to ensure long-term support for flood victims. In the first phase, Being Human and SKFC Assam have started distributing ready-to-eat food packages in Sivasagar, with supplies being transported from Guwahati.
The food packages include essential items such as biscuits, jaggery, poha, puffed rice, bread, cheese, and jam. The aim is to provide families with enough food supplies to manage during the immediate crisis.
Along with food, the relief kits also contain important daily-use items, including sanitary pads, mosquito coils, drinking water, and water purification tablets.
The second phase of the campaign will focus on delivering ration kits and medicines to families in the worst-hit areas of Assam. Organizers are preparing additional support as the flood situation continues to affect local communities.
In the final stage of the initiative, Being Human is expected to contribute toward rebuilding damaged schools and healthcare facilities impacted by the floods.
Salman Khan’s latest relief effort highlights the importance of community support during natural disasters and aims to provide both immediate assistance and long-term recovery help to flood victims in Assam.
