RAYE Puts New Album On Hold Until She Finds Love

British singer RAYE has revealed that she is delaying her next album because she wants her personal life to inspire the music.

The 28-year-old artist shared the surprising decision during her appearance on the Today Show’s Citi Summer Concert Series, where she revealed that her upcoming third studio album will be titled And Then She Fell in Love.

RAYE explained that she does not want to create the album until the title reflects a real chapter of her life. She jokingly said she is “on strike” from making another album until she finds love.

The singer said that after years of writing songs, she feels ready for a different perspective. She admitted that much of her previous work focused on heartbreak, difficult relationships, and feelings of loneliness.

During the interview, host Craig Melvin asked if she was seriously planning to wait for the right person before releasing another album.
