Netflix has officially announced the release date for The Gentlemen Season 2, ending months of anticipation among fans of the hit crime drama.
The second season of the popular series will premiere on September 3, with Netflix also releasing a first-look teaser that gives viewers a glimpse of the upcoming storyline.
The new season continues the story of Eddie Halstead, played by Theo James, and Susie Glass, portrayed by Kaya Scodelario, as they expand their criminal empire while facing new challenges.
According to the official storyline, one year has passed since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work with Bobby’s overseas criminal operation. However, growing concerns over Bobby’s decisions force them to choose between taking control or risking everything they have built.
Netflix shared the announcement on social media along with first-look images from the upcoming season, writing that viewers will return to Halstead Manor for the next chapter of the series.
Theo James and Kaya Scodelario will reprise their roles, joined by returning cast members Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones.
Season 2 will also introduce several new faces, including Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. and broadcaster Maya Jama.
Created as a television spin-off inspired by Guy Ritchie’s film of the same name, The Gentlemen combines crime, dark humor and stylish storytelling.
With a returning cast, new characters and bigger challenges ahead, Season 2 is expected to bring more twists and intense moments when it arrives on Netflix this September.
