Irish actor Michael Patrick, known for his appearance in Game of Thrones, has died at the age of 35 following a battle with motor neurone disease.
His death was confirmed by his wife, Naomi Sheehan, through an emotional Instagram post, in which she revealed that he passed away peacefully at the Northern Ireland Hospice after being surrounded by family and loved ones.

Patrick had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease in February 2023, a progressive neurological condition that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord and gradually impacts movement and bodily functions.

Despite his illness, he continued to work in the entertainment industry and remained active in both stage and screen projects. He was widely respected for his performances in television, theatre, and radio, including his brief appearance in the popular HBO series Game of Thrones.
His final days were spent in hospice care, where he received support from medical staff and family members.
