Maison Margiela presented its Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection in Paris. The show continued the house’s tradition of intellectual deconstruction and avant-garde tailoring.
Key silhouettes featured elongated, architectural shapes. Oversized blazers were sharply cut, while coats appeared with asymmetric, sculptural volumes. The palette remained largely anchored in the brand’s signature shades of white, black, and navy, punctuated by occasional flashes of metallic silver.
Familiar Margiela codes were re-examined. Four-stitch details and trompe l’oeil effects were present but subtly integrated. Fabrics emphasized texture, combining heavy woolens with technical, glossy finishes.
Footwear included the revisited Tabi boot in new, streamlined proportions. Accessories were minimal, focusing on structural bags that complemented the clothing’s forms.
The collection reinforced a focused vision, balancing the house’s conceptual heritage with precise, wearable execution.
