Kevin Hart’s Animated Series Lil Kev Sets Season 2 Release Date

Kevin Hart’s adult animated series Lil Kev is returning to Paramount+ with a new season this December. The show will premiere Season 2 on December 9, with all 10 episodes available to stream on the same day.

Inspired by Hart’s early life, the series follows a young boy whose big dreams and vivid imagination help him navigate family life and neighbourhood challenges.

Lil Kev Season 2 Returns on December 9

Set in North Philadelphia in 1993, Lil Kev centres on 12-year-old Kev, voiced by Kevin Hart. His ambitious ideas often lead him into trouble, but his imagination helps him turn difficult moments into memorable stories.

Season 2 will bring new challenges for the young character. This time, Kev’s impulsive behaviour leads him into the juvenile justice system, forcing him to face an adult world he is not ready to understand.

The new storyline will explore the consequences of his actions while continuing the show’s mix of comedy, family drama and childhood adventures.

Kevin Hart Leads the Returning Voice Cast

Hart returns as Kev, alongside Wanda Sykes as his protective mother, Nancy. Gerald “Slink” Johnson voices Kev’s father, Henry, while Jamar Malachi Neighbors returns as his older brother, Robert.

Deon Cole also returns as Kev’s uncle, Richard Jr., whose criminal past adds another layer to the family’s unpredictable life.

Together, the characters create a household filled with different personalities and challenges. Their relationships remain central to the series as Kev tries to find his place in the world.

The upcoming season also features a wide voice cast. Anjelah Johnson-Reyes voices Marisol, while Nicole Aimee Schreiber plays Ms. Green.

Other cast members include Cree Summer, Mo Collins, Loretta Devine, Affion Crockett, Clayton Thomas, Justin Hires, Wé Ani and Rick Ingraham. They voice several characters who help bring Kev’s school and neighbourhood adventures to life.

The expanded cast adds more personalities to the story as Kev faces new problems at home, at school and beyond.

When Did Lil Kev First Premiere?
