Joey King Denies Getting a Facelift
Joey King has set the record straight about rumors surrounding her appearance at the 2026 Met Gala.
During a recent episode of the In Your Dreams podcast, the 27-year-old actress directly denied having a facelift or other cosmetic work before the event.
King said she was happy to address the speculation because many people believed she had changed her face through surgery.

Instead of surgery, King said she used several temporary beauty treatments before walking the Met Gala red carpet.
First, the actress got a spray tan. She also went without food for 36 hours while drinking only water.

However, King made it clear that she does not recommend fasting this way.
She explained that she had attended a bachelorette party the weekend before the Met Gala and felt that she looked swollen after drinking. As a result, she decided to give herself what she called a reset.

King also revealed that she received a lymphatic massage and a facial the day before the Met Gala.
