Television presenter and automotive journalist Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, opening up about his health battle during the final episodes of Clarkson’s Farm Season 5.
The 66-year-old Top Gear and The Grand Tour star made the disclosure in a candid on-camera moment, telling those around him, “I’ve got cancer,” which immediately shocked his co-stars Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper.
When questioned further, Clarkson explained he had known about the diagnosis since May 2026 and had undergone medical tests, including a biopsy. He described the condition as “aggressive,” but emphasized that it had been caught early.
“I was praying we could get the harvest done and then I could go and get some treatment,” he said, noting that the timing of his treatment would coincide with filming commitments.

Clarkson also shared that he will likely undergo surgery within weeks. While he described the procedure as relatively straightforward, he acknowledged that recovery would temporarily limit his physical activity.
Despite the serious diagnosis, the presenter maintained his trademark blunt honesty, saying he was “not thrilled” about the situation. His co-star Kaleb Cooper offered support, urging him to take care of himself and reach out if needed.
The revelation has sparked concern among fans, who have followed Clarkson’s career across decades of British television and journalism.
