Actress Jane Seymour has spoken candidly about her decision to embrace natural aging, revealing she has no interest in undergoing cosmetic procedures to appear younger.
Speaking at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala, the 75-year-old star said she is not trying to turn back time, explaining that her focus remains on authenticity both in life and in her acting career.
“I’m not trying to be 30 when I’m 75,” Seymour said, adding that even looking 60 again would feel unnecessary. She emphasized that her work relies heavily on genuine emotional expression, which she believes is best supported by maintaining natural facial movement.
The Harry Wild star noted that she often plays older characters and values the ability to fully express emotion on screen. According to Seymour, procedures like fillers or laser treatments could restrict that range, which she prefers to avoid.
Despite her stance on cosmetic enhancements, Seymour is experiencing a thriving career. She is currently starring in the hit crime drama Harry Wild, which is preparing for its fifth season, and is also set to begin filming a new movie in Australia later this year.
Beyond acting, Seymour has expanded her creative pursuits, recently launching an art exhibition showcasing her watercolor paintings in New Jersey.
On a personal note, the actress is also celebrating her engagement to singer-songwriter John Zambetti after three years together. She described him as a creative partner and inspiration, saying music has become a joyful part of her daily life.
Having been married four times previously, Seymour says she is embracing this new chapter with gratitude, balance, and a renewed sense of happiness.
