Tay Keith, the Grammy-nominated producer behind some of the biggest hip-hop hits of the last decade, has reportedly died at the age of 29.
According to Nashville police, Keith — whose real name is Brytavious Chambers — was found dead during a welfare check at his apartment on Martin Street. Authorities stated that no foul play is suspected, though the official cause of death remains pending autopsy results.
Keith rose to prominence as one of the most influential young producers in modern hip-hop, working with major artists including Drake, Travis Scott, Eminem, Lil Baby, and Sexyy Red.

He became widely recognized after co-producing BlocBoy JB’s breakout hit Rover, before gaining global fame for his work on Travis Scott’s Sicko Mode, one of the defining tracks of 2018.
His production credits also include Drake and 21 Savage’s Nonstop and Rich Flex, as well as contributions to Beyoncé’s Homecoming live album.
Starting his career as a teenager uploading music online, Keith quickly built a reputation for his distinct sound and ability to craft high-energy, mainstream hits that shaped modern rap and trap music.
His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the music industry, with tributes expected from collaborators and fans worldwide.
