Gauahar Khan Calls Out Aasif Khan Over Bigg Boss 20 Remark
Panchayat actor Aasif Khan has faced criticism over his comments on Bigg Boss 20.
The actor was already under scrutiny after host Salman Khan questioned his behaviour toward other housemates.
Now, former Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan has also reacted to Aasif’s remarks.
She shared her thoughts on Instagram on September 25, calling out the actor over his comments during the latest episode.
Gauahar Khan Reacts to Aasif Khan
Gauahar questioned why Aasif chose to appear on the reality show when his acting career was already doing well.
She said she was disappointed by his behaviour during a situation involving Uditi.
According to Gauahar, Aasif appeared to enjoy comments made against Uditi instead of objecting to them.
She also described him as a talented actor but criticised what she viewed as narrow-minded thinking.
Gauahar Questions His Moustache Comment
Gauahar also addressed Aasif’s comments about moustaches and masculinity.
Aasif had suggested that a moustache represents a man’s identity. Gauahar challenged that idea and questioned whether appearance should be linked to manhood.
She also referred to Islamic teachings while responding to his statement.
Gauahar argued that a man’s true identity should be reflected through his behaviour and open-mindedness.
What Happened on Bigg Boss 20?
The controversy started during a task involving Yung DSA.
Gullu placed a “rejected” stamp on Yung’s face and questioned his attitude inside the house.
He suggested that Yung acted as though he was in charge of the other contestants.
Gullu also pointed to Yung’s decision to give the housemates similar moustache styles. He suggested that this showed Yung expected others to follow his instructions.
Aasif Khan Defends Yung DSA
Aasif later received the highest number of “rejected” stamps during the task.
Despite this, he defended Yung when the moustache issue was discussed.
Aasif explained that he comes from Rajasthan and considers the moustache an important part of his identity.
He said, “Hum naa Rajasthan se aate hain, yeh mooch humari pehchaan hai,” meaning that the moustache represents their identity.
He also made a remark about men without moustaches, which later became the focus of criticism.
