Dwayne Johnson Says Toner Is the Skincare Product Every Man Needs

Dwayne Johnson is encouraging men to rethink their daily skincare habits, revealing that one often-overlooked product can make a noticeable difference. While promoting Disney’s upcoming live-action Moana, the actor shared his favorite grooming advice and urged men to add toner to their routine.

Speaking with People magazine, Johnson described toner as a “quiet superpower” that deserves more attention. He explained that many women have long included toner in their skincare regimen, inspiring him to develop one through his own grooming brand, Papatui.

Johnson praised the toner available through Papatui, noting that it contains witch hazel, an ingredient commonly used to help cleanse and refresh the skin. He believes the product offers an easy way for men to improve their skincare without adding a complicated routine.

The actor launched Papatui in 2024, expanding into the men’s grooming market with skincare and haircare products. Earlier this year, he also went viral after social media users jokingly questioned why the famously bald star was selling shampoo and conditioner.

Responding with humor, Johnson shared a video showing off the long hair he wears as Maui in the live-action Moana. He joked that even a demigod’s legendary hair needs proper shampoo and conditioner, earning laughs from fans across social media.

Beyond skincare, Johnson also gave fans an update on the future of the Moana franchise. While confirming discussions about Moana 3, he said the current focus remains on the live-action adaptation before moving ahead with another animated sequel.

With both his entertainment projects and grooming brand gaining momentum, Johnson continues to expand his influence beyond Hollywood, encouraging fans to embrace self-care while looking ahead to the next chapter of Moana.
