New details have emerged in the ongoing investigation involving singer D4vd after a forensic expert testified about evidence found inside his Tesla vehicle.
During a preliminary hearing, Los Angeles Police Department criminalist Chelsea Murillo revealed that investigators discovered multiple air fresheners inside the vehicle where the remains of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found.
Murillo testified that 11 air fresheners were collected from different areas of the Tesla, including the center console, rear seats, and front storage compartment.
The forensic expert also described finding insects and other signs connected to the condition of the vehicle during the investigation.
Prosecutors presented images of the recovered items and evidence collected from inside the car during the hearing.
Murillo said there was a strong odor coming from the vehicle, which she described as consistent with a decomposing body.
The Tesla examination took place on September 9, 2025, one day after Celeste’s remains were discovered.
D4vd, known for his hit song “Romantic Homicide,” is facing allegations connected to the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The case remains under investigation, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
Prosecutors have claimed that the victim had a connection with the singer and have presented their version of events during the legal proceedings.
The preliminary hearing continues as authorities examine evidence and testimony related to the case.
