Police Investigate Crash at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s East Hampton Home
A driver has been arrested after allegedly crashing through the security gates of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s East Hampton estate, while police say the incident does not appear to be intentional.
Authorities are investigating a vehicle crash that caused damage to the luxury property owned by global music stars Beyonce and Jay-Z.
According to police officials, a 63-year-old man drove through the gates of the couple’s waterfront residence before being taken into custody.
Investigators said there were no signs that the incident was a planned attack. Police reported that the driver appeared confused and did not make any threats or mention the famous couple.
Sergeant Jennifer Dunn told media that officers found no weapons, written messages, or direct threats connected to the incident.
Authorities said it remains unclear whether the driver even knew who lived at the property at the time of the crash.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and later transported to Stony Brook Hospital after reporting physical discomfort.
Beyonce and Jay-Z purchased the seven-bedroom East Hampton estate in 2017, and the property has remained one of their private residences.
The incident comes as both stars continue to stay in the spotlight. Jay-Z recently made headlines with a three-night residency at New York’s Yankee Stadium.
Police investigations into the property damage are ongoing, but officials have reassured that there is currently no indication of a threat against the celebrity couple.
