Anthony Mackie has opened up about his reunion with Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan for Avengers: Doomsday.
The Marvel stars have shared years of history through the MCU. Mackie plays Sam Wilson, while Evans portrays Steve Rogers and Stan plays Bucky Barnes.
According to Mackie, bringing the trio together does not always create a serious work environment.
The actor said their reunions quickly turn into jokes, laughter and conversations. He described them as old friends who naturally start having fun when they meet.
Mackie explained that the trio can spend more time laughing and talking than focusing on work. Their relaxed chemistry creates plenty of chaos behind the scenes.

The actor also recalled a funny moment involving Stan. According to Mackie, Stan eventually asks the group a worrying question about which character might die.
The comment adds another layer of humour to the highly anticipated Marvel project.
Mackie became Captain America after Steve Rogers passed the shield to Sam Wilson at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Evans will also return for Doomsday, although Marvel has not revealed how the two versions of Captain America will fit into the story.
The Russo Brothers are directing Avengers: Doomsday, which remains one of Marvel’s most anticipated upcoming films.
The reunion of Mackie, Evans and Stan has already created excitement among MCU fans. Their off-screen friendship could make their on-screen return even more entertaining.
