John Stamos’ California Sound May Replace the Beach Boys at Disney World
John Stamos may be bringing his band, the California Sound, to Walt Disney World for an upcoming performance. The reported change comes amid concerns about Beach Boys singer Mike Love’s health.
According to reports, the Beach Boys may have withdrawn from their November appearances at EPCOT’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Stamos and his band are reportedly expected to step in, although no official confirmation of the replacement has been provided.
The possible change follows Stamos’ recent comments about Love, 85, who has reportedly been dealing with serious health issues.
John Stamos’ Band Could Step In for the Beach Boys
The Beach Boys were expected to perform at EPCOT as part of Disney World’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series. However, reports now suggest that their November performances may have been affected by Love’s health concerns.
Stamos, best known for his role in Full House, has a longstanding friendship with Love and a connection to the Beach Boys’ music.
His band, the California Sound, could reportedly take the stage in place of the group. However, until Disney or the musicians confirm the change, the replacement should be treated as unverified.
John Stamos Shares Concerns About Mike Love’s Health
The reported lineup change comes weeks after Stamos spoke publicly about Love’s health.
The actor shared an Instagram post expressing concern for his friend before the pair were expected to perform together in Tennessee on Sunday, October 11.
Stamos did not disclose specific details about Love’s condition. However, his comments drew attention from fans who were already concerned about the singer’s well-being.
Online footage showing Love performing while seated had also prompted questions about his health.
Mike Love Addresses His Health Issues
Love later addressed the audience during a performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. He acknowledged that he had been experiencing health problems for some time.
“I didn’t want to miss being at the Ryman with y’all,” Love said.
His remarks offered some insight into the challenges he had been facing while continuing to perform.
However, neither the reported health concerns nor the possible changes to the Beach Boys’ schedule establish that Stamos’ band has officially replaced the group.
