Shreya Ghoshal Reveals Her Dream Super Group With Coldplay and Adele
Shreya Ghoshal has revealed the international artists she would love to bring together for her dream music super group.
The celebrated Indian playback singer recently appeared on Good Morning America, where she discussed her favourite global artists and dream collaborations.
Shreya Ghoshal Picks Coldplay First
During the interview, Shreya was asked to create her dream super group using musicians from anywhere in the world.
She immediately chose Coldplay as her first pick.
“I want Coldplay no matter what,” Shreya said, explaining that she would want the entire band involved in creating the sound.
She specifically mentioned the drums, piano and guitars, along with frontman Chris Martin.
Adele and Raye Join Shreya’s Dream Lineup
Shreya then added another major international star to her dream group.
The Mere Dholna singer said she would love to have Adele as part of the lineup.
She also wanted to bring a more contemporary sound to the group by including British singer Raye.
Shreya praised Raye and expressed her admiration for the singer, saying she is “obsessed” with her music.
Shreya Ghoshal Wants AR Rahman Too
The singer also felt that the dream group would become even more special with the addition of Indian music legend AR Rahman.
By bringing together Coldplay, Adele, Raye and AR Rahman, Shreya imagined a group that would combine different musical styles and generations.
Shreya Ghoshal Adds Herself to the Group
Shreya did not leave herself out of her dream lineup.
While discussing the idea, the Saiyaara singer jokingly added herself to the group and said, “I am manifesting myself in it.”
Her choices reflect her interest in bringing together artists from different musical backgrounds for an ambitious global collaboration.
