Sebastian Stan has opened up about fatherhood for the first time since welcoming his newborn child.
The 44-year-old actor became a dad in July 2026. He shares the baby with his partner, Annabelle Wallis.
The couple has kept their child’s name and gender private. Stan continued that approach during a recent interview with New York magazine.
The Marvel star spoke about the emotional shift that came with becoming a father. He also discussed the challenge of returning to work soon after the baby’s arrival.
“Having had a baby and then having to get on a plane to go back to work felt like I was ruining their life,” Stan said.
He offered little else about the child. However, he shared one playful detail while discussing the baby’s birth month.
“Let’s just say that, as a Leo. I’m happy to have a Leo child,” the actor said.
Stan appears focused on balancing fatherhood with his busy career. His comments also show how strongly he wants to protect his family’s privacy.
The actor has several major projects ahead. He will return as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for December 18.
He is also attached to The Batman Part II. The highly anticipated sequel is currently in production and is expected to arrive in February 2028.
For now, Stan is embracing fatherhood while keeping his newest family chapter away from the spotlight.
