Dwayne Johnson has revealed that he took home a special piece of Jumanji memorabilia from the set of the upcoming film, but the reason behind it carries a heartfelt connection.
During an interview with People, the 54-year-old actor admitted that he kept a dice prop from Jumanji 3, explaining that the item holds a special place in the franchise’s history.

Johnson revealed that the dice he wears in the upcoming movie Jumanji: Open World were connected to the original 1995 film starring Robin Williams. He described the prop as a tribute to the late actor, who passed away in 2014.

The actor explained that the dice were part of a memorable slow-motion scene in the original movie and that one half of the pair was used as part of his character’s costume in the new installment.
While joking about taking the prop, Johnson admitted that production items are usually expected to be returned after filming. However, he said this particular piece was too meaningful to leave behind.

Crew members from Jumanji: Open World later asked Johnson about the missing prop, but the actor humorously claimed he did not have it with him.
The upcoming film is expected to continue the popular adventure franchise and is scheduled to release on December 25. Fans of the series are especially excited to see how the new movie honors the legacy of the original Jumanji story.
